Baptism is a Sacrament!
A sacrament is something Jesus commanded us to do. It involves a physical element we can see, and touch (sometimes even taste!), and is connected to God's promise. Holy Baptism, commanded by Jesus, and connecting us to God through ordinary water that does extraordinary things, is one of the two sacraments recognized by Lutherans (the other being Holy Communion).
At St. Paul, we are thrilled to welcome you or your child into the family of God through Holy Baptism. Usually, a baptism takes place during a worship service. During the pandemic, private baptisms can be arranged, though we hope you will allow us to record them and incorporate them into our worship videos!
