Wine, Women and the Word
Wine, Women, and the Word is an opportunity for St. Paul women to gather in a comfortable, fun, social context to simply get to know each other better and strengthen our sense of community. We meet at 7:30 pm on the first Friday of each month at a member's home.
Our emphasis is on conversation, sharing, and learning from one another. The structure is loose -- after checking in with each other and learning what's new in each others lives, we simply introduce a good "discussion starter" and see what happens. No assignments, no dues, no long-term commitments, and no limits to where the evening's conversation may lead.
Each evening generally follows this loose schedule:
- 7:30 - 8:30 conversation and socializing!
- 8:30 - 9:30 roundtable check-in of joys and concerns, prayer requests, an introduction of the evening's pre-determined "discussion starter" and the ensuing conversation
- 9:30 - 10:00 wrap-up
The group is certainly open to women of any age. We all have something to share and something to learn from each other. We're simply a group of girlfriends.
