Keep your faith growing and your mind active. Members and friends with a diversity of backgrounds and study experience--from a little to a lot--are part of our adult classes and small groups. Instead of lectures, we learn from our readings and discussions during and between class sessions. A spirit of openness and joy in discovery are at the heart of our adult education series. Each participant's questions and thoughts are welcomed. Our goal is to build up each other in faith.
The following are independent groups which engage members in lively, thought-provoking discussions and other activities as described below. Check the church calendar or contact the church office for meeting times to join them.
Connecting Sunday to Monday small groups are fellowship groups, open to all adults, that gather to discuss the Scripture and sermon from worship and help each other make connections with daily life. Currently this is an Sunday evening group that meets every other week at 7pm, and a "Lunch Edition" that meets at noon on the first, third (and fifth) Mondays.
The Book Discussion Group meets monthly to discuss a book which has been selected by the group.
The Women's Bible Study Group meets monthly to discuss and study the Bible together.
The Saturday Morning Men's Breakfast Group meets biweekly at 7:30am.
The Knit Works group is a gathering of women who like to knit and crochet and enjoy each others company.
The Labor of Love group meets twice, sometimes three times each month to make quilts which are later donated to different charities.
The Cinema at St. Paul group meets monthly to share pizza, fellowship and a good movie.
The Faith Circle group meets monthly for lunch, inspirational studies, fellowship, service and a program.
