Council Meeting Minutes
June 12, 2007

Present: Pr. Eastman, Jim Baumgardner, Charlie Boone, Carlo D’Agostino, Mark Demich, Kevin Dixon, Patty Fess, Bob Hein, Ann Holmstrom, Gayle Meskimen, Bob Miller
Excused: Lisa Jackson, Nick Poulos

Kevin Dixon called the meeting to order at 8:13

Pr. Eastman opened with prayer.

Approve Minutes
Jim Baumgardner moved to approve church council minutes dated May 15, 2007 and Carlo D’Agostino seconded. The minutes were approved.
Mark Demich moved that the Congregational Meeting Minutes dated May 20, 2007 be recommended to the congregation for approval. Jim Baumgardner seconded and the motion passed.
Patty Fess moved to approve the Special Call Council Meeting Minutes dated May 31, 2007. Carlo D’Agostino seconded and the minutes were approved.

Re-Elect Treasurer
There was a motion to recommend Ann Holmstrom as Treasurer of St. Paul for another one-year term. Charlie Boone seconded and Ann Holmstrom is Treasurer for a second one-year term.

Election of Officers
Kevin turned the meeting over to Pr. Eastman for the election of officers for the Council.
Carlo D’Agostino nominated Kevin Dixon for the office of President and Mark Demich seconded. Kevin accepted the nomination. Bob Hein moved that nominations be closed and Mark Demich seconded. Nominations were closed. There was a motion to elect Kevin Dixon to the office of President and Jim Baumgardner seconded and Kevin was elected President.
Carlo D’Agostino nominated Charlie Boone for the office of Vice President and the nomination was seconded. Charlie Boone accepted the nomination. It was moved and seconded that nominations be closed. Motion carried. There was a motion and a second to elect Charlie Boone as Vice President. Charlie Boone was elected.
Carlo D’Agostino nominated Patty Fess for Congregational Secretatry and Mark Demich seconded. Patty Fess accepted the nomination. Mark Demich moved to close nominations. It was seconded and nominations were closed. There was a motion to elect Patty Fess as Congregational Secretary, Kevin Dixon seconded and Patty was elected.

Kevin thanked out-going council member Bob Miller for six years of service and welcomed new council member Bob Hein. Charlie Boone requested an update on property from Bob Miller. Bob reported to be waiting on two more bids for the air conditioning project and that operations will meet as soon as the bids are available. He also reported that there are 85 of the old red banquet chairs in the boiler room awaiting pick up by a charity.

Adjournment
As there was no further business Jim Baumgardner moved to adjourn and Mark Demich seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 P.M.
